Teams play each other twice (22 games)
League then splits into promotion and relegation series (10 games)
Promotion
1-2 teams promoted
1st place automatically promoted
2nd place qualifies for promotion playoff
Playoff finalist plays a team from the league above to earn promotion
Relegation
Bottom 3 are relegated
Other
The match squad must have no more than 3 non-EU players.
The match squad must have at least 9 players trained by a club in Finland.
There must be at least 4 players trained by a club in Finland in the playing 11
SJK Akatemia are a feeder side for another club and cannot be promoted

It is advisable however to run as many top tier leagues of major nations as you can to keep the continental club competitions competitive

Youth Recruitment
This determines how large a pool of players your team can recruit from. It is the size of your recruitment network. It increases your chances of getting the best young players from your area, nation and beyond.
